The government of the Kingdom of Babkha is divided into three branches; the Executive, the Legislature and the Judiciary.

The Executive

Under Article 28 of the Constitution of The Kingdom of Babkha, Executive Authority is vested in the King in Council as interpreted by the Constitution. The following are the members of the Executive Council :
  • His Imperial Majesty the Shahanshah of Babkha
    HIM Tahmaseb Shah Abakhtari
    The King is the Head of State of The Kingdom of Babkha and the symbol of Babkhan sovereignty.


  • The Grand Vizierate
    Rakesh Ackbar
    The Grand Vizier is the Principal Executive Officer and acts as the Chairperson of the Executive Council.


  • The Ministry of Foreign Affairs
    Rakesh Maziar Ackbar
    The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is responsible for the safeguarding and promotion of Babkha's interests through effective diplomacy.


  • The Ministry of Trade and Economics
    Asabana Mithra
    The Ministry of Trade & Economics' responsibility is to advance the well-being and development of Babkha through the superior stewardship and prudent investment of public funds, a financial environment conducive to business and enterprise, policies & frameworks which enhance excellence in the public sector and practices and results which will promote high and stable levels of economic growth and employment, so that all Babkhans have ample opportunity to improve their standards of living.


  • The Ministry of Defence & Home Affairs
    Kuralyov & Zarathustra Ruhan Eruinen
    The Ministry of Defence's mission is to enhance Babkha's peace and security, and should deterrence and diplomacy fail, to ensure that the Imperial Babkhan Armed Forces secures a swift and decisive victory over the aggressor. The Home Affairs portfolio is responsible for the maintenance of the internal infrastructure of Babkha and the processing and registration of citizenship applications.


  • The Ministry of Welfare and Culture
    Amir Shervanis & Jadie Alaleh
    The Ministry of Welfare and Culture aims to enhance the cultural aspects of the Kingdom of Babkha and to reinforce Babkha's Near East heritage by building a cultural base for all Babkhans to be proud of.

The Legislature

Article 9 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Babkha provides for a unicameral legislature known as the Majlis that consists of HIM the Shah and five (5) members elected by universal suffrage of all citizens of Babkha for a term of no more than one year. The elected members of the Majlis for the 2003-2004 session are :

The Judiciary

Article 35 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Babkha provides for a Judiciary that comprises of a Supreme Court and other courts and tribunals that might be established by legislation. The members of the judiciary are as follows : Other Institutions

Although not technically a part of the institutions of government, these bodies represent an integral part of the government :
  • Constitutional Tribunal
    Ardashir Khan Osmani
    The Constitutional Tribunal is responsible for upholding the Constitution of the Kingdom of Babkha and ensure that edicts, decisions and legislation enacted by the Government is consistent with the Constitution.


  • Attorney General's Office
    Iain Vembria (protemp Prosecutor)
    The Attorney General's Office is responsible for the enhancement of the rule of law and constitutional government in Babkha by providing sound legal advice and assistance in developing a fair and responsive legal system, furthering good public administration and protecting the interest of the state and of the people.
